you should have majong game in your applications -> games menu
if you don't you can do 'sudo apt-get install gnome-games' to get it.

Extract the file and follow README or INSTALL file instructions enclosed within.

If you can give the link to the file you've downloaded we can help you better.

Babett, please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xmahjongg mah-jong

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Then open menu Applications->Games ....

Hope this help

Well I have just tried this.
Download it to your desktop.
Right click on it and choose "Extract Here".
It will create a new folder on your desktop.
Open that folder and the one inside it, run it and if it works the same for you it wont start.
This appears to be very old and doesn't seem to work well with modern linux distros

Can you help with this problem?
