Clean out full PPA?

Asked by Monty Taylor

Hi!

I'm getting PPA full errors for ppa:drizzle-developers/trunk. I tried to go delete a bunch of superseeded packages (I _really_ don't need anything in here other than most recent) but when I tried to do that, it did not work. (They all show up on the packages page, but none of them show up on the delete packages page)

Anything you guys can do here?

Deleting superseded packages won't help, they will already have been deleted automatically (or at least discounted from your PPA's size). You've got 75 binary packages totalling 1.7 GiB and your max size is 2GiB. I've boosted you up to 3GiB, hope that helps.

Hi!

So, now I've got 75 binary packages totalling 3.4 GiB - which seems
quite wrong... I by my count it seems like it should be _slightly_ over
a 500M ...

We've had a problem with the dead file reaping process for the last day, and it's been restarted today. Can you give it a while and see if the total size reduces in a few hours. If not, post back here.

It's still rejecting new packages due to:

PPA exceeded its size limit (3442.00 of 3096.00 MiB). Ask a question in
https://answers.launchpad.net/soyuz/ if you need more space.

If it's still just sorting itself out, that's of course totally cool.
But it's entirely possible that it's still a little broken. :)

Argh, it was still broken this morning. We've put a fix in that seems to be
working now, please give it a while again and it should be OK soon. Sorry for
the hassle!

Can you help with this problem?
