Translations aren't imported for dell-recovery

Asked by Mario Limonciello

I set up automatic imports 1 week ago, but only one of the translation templates got imported. There are two within the project and one is still sitting at needs review.

The problem here is that debian/po/templates.pot was in the tree first and got imported as the "dell-revcovery" template, which is the standard practice if there is only one template with a generic name. po/dell-recovery.pot was added later and it evaluates to "dell-recovery", too. So, should it overwrite the existing template.

Actually, I think it does and that debian/po/templates.pot needs to be deleted from the tree as it is a temporary file AFAIK.

Actually debian/po/templates.pot isn't a temporary file. They're both templates; one of them is for the debconf questions and the other for the application itself.

Ah ok, my mistake.

So what should the template be called then? I guess "dell-recovery" should be used for the main template. What should I rename the other template to? "dell-recovery-debconf" ?

Okay the templates look to have come in right, but all of the old translations look like they are still pending. Will those come on their own, or do they manually need their target picked too?

The import's already done. They were approved automatically because

- they were from the same directory as the template
- their names were correct language codes.

Good job! People keep getting these things wrong ... ;-)
