12.10 Ubuntu problems with Wubi

Asked by Patrick Snell

I downloaded the 64bit version of 12.10 from Ubuntu's website and I decided to install it with Wubi. Everything goes fine, but whenever I boot into it. I either choose the advanced set up or the normal and then I'm greeted with a purple screen that has a massive black bar in the middle of it and some other artifacts. I'm not able to do anything at this point. This link is a picture of what the screen looks like. http://tinypic.com/r/2up8fba/6

Some addition notes. My computer is an Asus G75VW. Intel i7, 660M Nvidia graphics card, 8 gigs of ram.

Does it use switchable video chip (intel and Nvidia)?
