Weather wallpaper

no background images or text, just blue screen

the applet shows and works just fine, but i only get a blue background, no images or text.

i am using pclinuxos gnome version.

Errormessage on console:

(inkscape:4826): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_qdata_full: assertion `quark > 0' failed

Solved
For some reason the draw_background value in gconf-editor was turned off.
Turning it back on draws the WP.

The inkscape message above is still there and can be ignored.
