Do I need to be a Windows Administrator to use UNetbootin?
With the support from Geza Kovacs (Thanks!), I downloaded the latest MS-Windows version of UNetbootin to a non-admin MS-Windows account. I asked for Ubuntu, and took all the defaults. I could tell it wrote an image to the USB thumb drive, but for some reason I could not boot from it. No errors (so a different symptom than Question #97729), just the laptop always booted off the HD, even though USB was first in the boot sequence, and even when I pressed F12 to get to boot menu and chose "Boot from USB". I then logged out of my non-admin account, and into the admin account, and ran the same UNetbootin executable, again asking for Ubuntu, re-downloading the ISO, and again taking all the defaults. Now I can boot into the Live USB just fine. Was it a coincidence, or maybe a bad download, or did I need to be logged in as an administrator?
