any plan to fix bug#892038

Is there way to get around this problem? this kit have major issue with the build on 12.04 and doesn't 11.10 have this bug:https://bugs.launchpad.net/uck/+bug/892038.

we're going to remove the package manager option, it's not a uck bug and we're tired of non-uck bugs reported to uck
