Why can a computer still sync files after being removed from account?

After removing a computer from your account, that computer will still be able to sync files until the client is disconnected from the service. The workaround for this is to remove a computer from your account and immediately disconnect the client (click on the Ubuntu One client applet and select "Disconnect").
