i had to do a fsck on my

i also did this... sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
because ive been trying to follow other posts so i dont trouble you guys.. but i think professional help is the right thing in this case, because there seem to be too many technical variables and unknowns.. i can boot up with the usb if i go through some options but the screen with the keyboard and person wont even show

ok, i changed a boot option in advanced setup from hmci to ata or something, now it prompts me to be able to run ubuntu without crashing.. so maybe its solved, but i feel it should just run without a prompt.. but i don't know maybe we can fix that if its a bug.
