how to setting huawei ets 1201 in ubuntu?

i try thsi link information for huawei ets 1201 - http://installing-huawei-cdma-modem-in-linux.blogspot.com/
first type in root dmesg -c
this massage in middle show
    usb 2-4: New USB device found, idVendor=12d1, idProduct=1010
usb 2-4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 2-4: Product: Huawei Technologies
usb 2-4: Manufacturer: Huawei, Incorporated
usb 2-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
 creating ttyusb file after type dmesg -c no any massage show
    gedit /etc/wvdial.conf
   file created and after creat
    gedit /etc/resolv.conf
    and type type
wvdial huawei
and this result show

[root@nidhi nidhi]# wvdial huawei
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60
--> Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: No such file or directory
--> Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: No such file or directory
--> Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: No such file or directory
but type
[root@nidhi nidhi]# ls /dev/ttyS*
and this result show -
/dev/ttyS0 /dev/ttyS1 /dev/ttyS2 /dev/ttyS3

my quetion is how to setting huawei ets 1201 in ubuntu (linux).

 thanx for your help, but next trouble found
i try in terminal root

[root@nidhi nidhi]# wvdial huawei
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ
--> Sending: ATQ0
--> Re-Sending: ATZ
--> Modem not responding.
[root@nidhi nidhi]#

this problem found. so what is next step?
