Recovery problems

Asked by richtalia

When choosing "Recovery" at start-up, no matter which option I choose, it partially runs, then freezes up. Any idea on how to fix this ??? Thanks !!! (Am running ubuntu 12.04 LTS)

I suggest you test your RAM using memtest86 from Grub

Seems to be an ATi x1400. Try the boot option:

radeon.nomodeset=1

Can you help with this problem?
