DVD Player not recognized

Hello team. I need some help getting the DVD player recognized in Ubuntu 12.04. I need the to know the process how to install the packages. It worked well before installing Ubuntu.

What is the output of :

sudo lshw -C disk; sudo lshw -C drive; lsb_release -a
