ubuntuone publishes without giving any number

I use UbuntuOne to publish some electronic books. It works now very well and is quite convenient.

One thing is missing with the "Publish" function. There is no way to know how many people downloaded your latest masterpiece. It is a bit frustrating, and I think it should be implemented as a natural complement to the "Publish" function.

Do you think it could be done?

The better venue for this is to create a Wishlist bug. I have created the bug so users and developers can comment on the viability of this idea.
