If you want to develop you can use:

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk

If you want just to run java programs you can use:

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre

You will need to enable the partner server in software centre. They are present, just not enabled so just tick the box and close etc out, you can then use the about commands

@zachariakassim: This issue is now being discussed in a newer question that you have posted (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sun-java6/+question/143038). Therefore, I recommend marking this question (but not that one) as Solved.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask zachariakassim for more information if necessary.
