Trouble printing from Windows 7

I installed an HP Deskjet F4280 printer on my Ubuntu 12.04 machine and on my Windows 7 laptop that accesses the Ubuntu machine through the network. I was able to print a test page.

I was also able to print from MS Word, but not from Acrobat. I then changed the workgroup name in smb.conf to match the laptop and now I can't print from either Word nor Acrobat.

I will greatly appreciate any ideas anyone might have.

Remove the printer from Windows and readd it. May help

Reinstalled the printers, changed the workgroup on the laptop back to the default (WORKGROUP) and restored my backup of smb.conf. Prints from Word, but not from Acrobat.

Is there a conflict with Adobe?
