error reading ape music files

Hi,
Xhen trying to listen ape music files, rithmbox stop 30 second before the end of each file.

Do you know why ?

This may be a bug in Gstreamer(the underlying framework rhythmbox uses to play music).

Try playing it in another Gstreamer application such as Totem, to see if it has the same problem. Right-click the APE file, select "open with", then "open with movie player". If stops playing too early, then it confirms that other Gstreamer apps wont play the file.

Alternatively, you can try playing the file with vlc, or converting the file to another format. I vote for using vlc.

Yes you're right : it's a bug in gstreamer.
vlc do not read ape file, but mplayer do.
