Downloaded songs show up on ipod list, but not when listening to the ipod

I am very very new to linux and I recently updated to the 8.04 version. Since doing so I can no longer use my frostwire/limewire music download to add music to my ipod shuffle. The music downloads and plays just fine. It even show up on Rhythembox and gtkpod like it's on my ipod. However, when I take my ipod off the dock the music I just downloaded isn't there. I'm very frusterated. Can you help?

download and install this app

its called GTK pod

after installing u can find it under Sounds and video

try using it
