Noticable glitch between tracks on continuous play albums

On continuous play albums there is a noticable discontinuity between tracks.
I assume that this is a fault of the player as it did not happen with either windows media player or iTunes in windows 7.
If something can be done please inform otherwise this is information for the developer/s

What Windows does is of zero value, it is a completely different OS with completely different support.

Have you tried other media players under Ubuntu? That would beof value as it is running in the same OS but just the application is different.

What type of files do you play?

I ask this question because I had this issue myself with mp3. This is not the cas with flac or ogg files.

I use mp3 files to give compatibility between apple and microsoft devices, although ogg does sound superior for a given bit rate.

So back to iTunes for my convenience.

I will continue to use Banshee in the Ubuntu section of my computer though.
