convert OGG music file to MP3

Asked by kaschveiger

I just got a MP3 player, I've never had one before. I'm having trouble getting some of my songs to show up on it. I think it is because they are .ogg files and not .mp3 ones. Is there a way to change this so I can get these songs on my player?

I think Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) can convert .ogg files to mp3 files. You can find and install it using synaptic I think.

Hope this helps.

Clare you are right, Audacity is good
but for more automation you can try also soundconverter or soundkonverter
