Asked by Yaroslav

After suspend/hibernate cannot connect to any wired network.
============================
Notebook LG S1-P655R
Ubuntu 10.10,
Network manager applet 0.8.1.998
============================
Sudo stop network-manager
sudo start network-manager
doesn't help

Problem can be resolved by restarting notebook or doing next commands:
sudo modprobe -r et131x
sudo modprobe et131x

Logging out and logging in generally helps to solve this. It restarts the network devices. Hope this helps!

No, it doesn't resolve a problem.

Shows how you can add a command (or commands) to be ran when the system 'wakes up'. This will resolve your issue. Basically the device is sleeping but isn't being woken up probably due to some cheap ACPI implementation (makes me think it's an Acer laptop) but you can work around this with the help there, kjust use the commands YOU need to make things right.

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely rfkill will be of any help here, given the issue is with wired connections.

Please, file a bug regarding this problem against the 'linux' package, if possible using the 'ubuntu-bug linux' command.

It's an example!! Jesus!

It shows how you can add a script to your wakeup. JKust change the rfkill bit to the commands YOU need to use.

Can you help with this problem?
