How to blacklist nouveau for 3070 on livecd?

Severe performance problem with
i9 MSI laptop with
Nvidia 3070 mobile GPU
 non functional but makes X unusable
Linux 5.19.0-1018 lowlatency
Studio livecd 230303
Dmesg has many nouveau crashes
Workaround boot parameter:
nouveau.modeset=0
Fixes the laptop screen (i915)
(HDMI output never worked on livecd)
How do I modify the livecd
 to blacklist nouveau?
Can it be done without a
Full unpack/repack of filesystem.squashfs?

In addition there is an application named cubic https://launchpad.net/cubic that is supposed to allow modifying and repacking an Ubuntu installer. I have never used it myself, so I cannot promise that it is possible to do what you want.

It does not require to blacklist nouveau
