Asked by Christian Schürer-Waldheim

There is no xen kernel in intrepid currently. What are the plans about xen? When will packages be available?

Thanks for any info,
regards,
Christian

Glad someone else has caught this. I have the same question, or more specifically, will Xen Dom0 be supported in Intrepid? I know Debian is planning to release Lenny without Dom0 support which I think is a big mistake. Is Ubuntu planning to take the same path? If so I will probably just switch to a distro with a commitment and ability to support Xen.

Hi Guys,

Just some additional info taken from the ubuntu kernel team mailing list:

"Xen domU is built into our current kernel. I don't think there are any
plans to incorporate a dom0 kernel for intrepid."

Can you help with this problem?
