Icons missing in Plasma/KDE after upgrade

Asked by dubis

Hello,

Since I did an update many icons of application is missing. That's odd as I can see the icon in the KDE menu editor listing but not in the general Tab of this interface.
As example Firefox icon, PlayonLinux icon, Google Play Music are missing in the menu listing
I'm using KDE Frameworks 5.23.0 with Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1) on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS"

Thanks for your support.

This doesn't look buggy at all to me. Do you mean update or Upgrade (like from 14.04 -> 16.04) ?

If you wish to have an application appear on the 'Favorites' menu tab, follow that.

Scrawl through the menu, then "right-click" -> add to Favorites

e.g. for Firefox: Move cursor on 2nd Menu-Tab "Applications" -> "Internet" -> Firefox – rightclick -> select "Add to Favorites"

Hello Flame
Thanks to answer
I installed the16.04 LTS and I'm staying 16.04 and sorry for my poor english

I don't want to add Firefox as Favorites. I've got the Firefox icon in my task bar. Now I've a hole and when I click in this hole Firefox is stating. In my menu, in the Internet section I've the word of firefox without icon. I tried to add it manually with the menu editor. It didn't work

Thanks for any help
