Upgrading Kubuntu to 12.04 LTS Beta 1, will it be upgraded to the final version...?

If I upgrade to the beta version (12.04 beta 1) from 11.10, will it be upgraded to the final version, in April or will it remain always a beta?

Yes the repos used by the bta are the same as the final release, you will get an update on release day to change the OS so it no longer says development branch and you will have the stable release.
