Sharing files via wired connection

I've got Linux and Windows systems in the house. Wired via cat 5 through a router. I need to access files from my Windows computer through my Linux and I need to be able to share the printer that is already on the Linux (its a HP-920 that is working fine on the Linux already). Any help would be most appreciated. I'm a newbie, so take that in consideration when giving direction, please.

You need to Install and configure Samba on your Linux system.
