KMail with Gmail Account

I'm trying to set-up my Gmail account with KMail, for whatever reason it will allow me to retrieve my messages but not sending any out. Please help

Have you set the SMTP server settings according to this page?:

https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287

It's important to use those settings exactly, authentication, TLS and one of the two ports, or it will not work.
