how to connect to internet with dialup modem with 9.04

as kppp is not included in 9.04 I cannot connect to internet

type in console :
sudo apt-get install kppp

it will install kppp

this does not solve the problem as to install with apt-get I have to have a working
internet conn. which I cannot have without kppp installed. message generated
was "could not resolve archive.ubunto.com"

Then you must download the deb file from another computer (school, work, library, friend, whatever) and copy it to your computer, then double click on the deb (opens GDebi).
