How do I change to 4 suits in Spider (KPatience)?

In: Spider, KPatience, Ubuntu Jaunty 64 bit

After I select "Settings"->"Options"->"4 Suits (Hard)" and start a new game, the game still has 2 suits. When I restart KPatience, the setting is once again "2 Suits (Medium)" ... Is there a different way I should be changing to 4 suits?

I'm sorry I don't know much about KPatience. However, four suit spider solitaire seems to work fine in AisleRiot solitaire.
