How does one put one card on another card in freecell?

When I play freecell in the Windows environment I place one card on top of another by left-clicking on the card I want to move and then left-clicking on the card I want to place it on. When I try this with the Kpatience version of freecell I am using with Kubuntu 8.10, the card I am trying to move stays where it is, How do I place it on the other card?

I don't have the same version but I just click and drag. Try that.
