password not accepted

when I type my password in terminal I keep getting error message "Authentication Failure"

Open a terminal and type your user password on a empty line to be sure your keyboard is working fine in the terminal.

Then type:

sudo -i

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Then, if you don't get any error type

exit

Yuo don't need to do this all the time you need to type the password... This was only a test to check if your password works so plase only be sure to type the correct password when requested.... ;-)
