inserimento psswrd in CONSOLE

Quando inserisco una riga di testo in CONSOLE e mi viene richiesta la password, non riesco a inserirla. Il tastierino numerico non reagisce. Numlock controllato. Sono un novizio, abbiate pazienza.

Forse é un problema fittizio: quando si inserisce la password in console sembra non succeda nulla visto che non c'é nessun carattere riportato sullo schermo, ma il carattere é ricevuto. Prova ad inserire la tua password e inviala con Enter e vedi cosa ti dice.
O forse non ho capito bene la tua domanda?
