You ran out of hard drive space on the partition Kubuntu was installed on.

Type in terminal

df -f

to see do you have free space.If you don't remove some things with

sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoclean

If that give you free space run

sudo dpkg --configure -a
