when will the ubuntu 14.04 update it's grub loader

The Grub 2.02~beta2-9 in Ubuntu 14.04 have a bug

I reported it here, but no one reply to me even though 3 months passed...

Anyone who have installed ubuntu14.04 can just have a try what I say in that page.

So I want to know when will the grub update to a stable version?

Is GRUB causing any issues?

yes, the Grub 2.02~beta2-9 have a bug(I think...)

If the native disk module can not work normally, I have to press F12 every time I boot my computer.

Could try LILO or BURG. You don't have to use GRUB.

Well, BURG seems to be no longer actively maintained after 2010.

And LILO is also legacy, I don't think it can work normally on both ubuntu14.04 and win7...
