Choice of OS, three do not work for Xubuntu 12.04

Could not get Xbuntu 12.10 to work. Formated and changed partitions. Downloaded Xubuntu 12.04, installed beside Ubuntu 10.04. When grub comes up, everything with 10.04 works correctly. Three about Xubuntu 12.04 do not work. Sends to screen about errors.
