How to resize /boot in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64x after installation
Asked by
bitzi
I allocated 100 mb for /boot while i was installing Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64x one month ago.
Now when I was notified that there are updates available for my system, when i hit "install updates" , it returns:
Not enough free disk space
The upgrade needs a total of 25.1 M free space on disk '/boot'. Please free at least an additional 12.8 M of disk space on '/boot'. Empty your trash and remove temporary packages of former installations using 'sudo apt-get clean'.
I have some 20 GB available to other parts of systed allocated for ubuntu but i don't know how i can assign it to /boot.
My system is dell Studio 64x 6 mb cache 4 GB ram
regards
