for Linux I should follow ./configure then make followed by make install but as soon as first command is executed I have following info:

./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... mawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for pkg-config... yes
Package libpcsclite was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libpcsclite.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libpcsclite' found
configure: error: install pcsc-lite 1.2.0 or later

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.
