terminal remote session automation

Asked by Shabbir Ahmed

I want to automate the ssh logins the following way: (same as securecrt).

1) want to add a drop down menu where user clicks to launch a remote session (save already).
2) the session (saved earlier) will open ssh connection put the username password to auto login.
3) run few commands and then hands over the session to me same like expect interactive.
4) sets the terminal title to the hostname of the remote session.
5) session login as well.

the steps (2,3,4) can be achieved through expect and terminal commands, but i want to know how to add an expect script to gnome-terminal which calls a locally saved expect script.

Instead of a password to ssh, use ssh keys and you won't need a password. You'll just be logged in.
