keyring manager

i have lost my network key. i dont think i knew it in the first place. i cannot unlock it how can i get past this?

Hello dirk...

You can try clearing/resetting the keyring thats the only way out i your case I think:

Give this command in a terminal (applications -> accessories -> terminal)

rm ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring

Or the GUI way:

Navigate to Places > Home. Press ctrl-h for "hidden files". Navigate to .gnome2 > keyrings. Delete default.keyring file.

you can reset the password on next use.
