i m havin ubuntu10.10, tell me the procedure to how to install games like counter strike or any other in ubuntu?
i m havin wine software also 512mb N-VIDIA graphic card

You may be able to install some Windows games using Wine. Check this link for compatibility:

There are commercial games which run natively like return to castle wolfenstein, as well as some games which are programmed purely for Linux and run great.

There is also a large selection of games in the default repos.

If you run:
wget -q -O- http://archive.getdeb.net/getdeb-archive.key | sudo apt-key add -

Then run:
wget http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb; sudo dpkg -i ./playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb; rm ./playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb

You can use playdeb to install a wide variety of games
http://www.playdeb.net/updates/ubuntu/10.10/
