Basically, I'm running the Creative Live! External Soundblaster 24-bit (USB): http://www.soundblaster.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=206&product=10702

and I don't get any sound on Youtube (or other flash files).

I've tried the aoss fix, among others. Nothing works. I've also tried a manual install of the .so file from Adobe on the advice of tito. Nothing works.

A fix would be appreciated :).

lsusb.txt will be attached.

Make sure your sound card is defined to be the default one. See `asoundconf set-default-card` in a Terminal, follow its directions, then restart your Web browser.

Ok, I tried that, I typed:

jonathon@jonathon-desktop:~$ asoundconf set-default-card
You have omitted a necessary parameter. Please see the output from `asoundconf list`, and use one of those sound card(s) as the parameter.

jonathon@jonathon-desktop:~$ asoundconf list
Names of available sound cards:
External
jonathon@jonathon-desktop:~$ asoundconf set-default-card External
jonathon@jonathon-desktop:~$

I then tried Firefox, nothing has changed. Did I follow the procedure correctly?
