How do i update the flashplayer on my webbook (operating system is ubuntu)

I bought a Webbook from vodacom. The operating system is Ubuntu. When you go into Facebook and try and run any of the application it requests you to update your flashplayer. if you click on the link the option is to update APT for ubuntu. when you run this it gives the message "Unknown channel "lucid Partner".

Can anyone assist me to update the fashplayer.

Run a terminal either using the menus / dash or press CTRL+ALT+T and one will run

You can copy and paste the command there and copy all of the output and paste here as an update

Ok if you run:

apt-cache search gnash; apt-cache search swf

What is output?

Appears you are using an ARM CPU so there is no Adobe flash plugin for your OS.

so if there is no support for flash player, how can i open applications on the web that uses adobe flash player.

You can use gnash, swfdec player, lightspark or you can enable the HTML5 in youtube and you can watch videos using that. There is also use musictube (nonfree)
