Yes, did a restart and every day now for 4 days. Still the same thing always asked to install plug in and then tells me it is already loaded.

Try to install the flashplayer from Synaptic. Search for flashplugin-nonfree and install it. Or open a Terminal and enter: sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree.

Hope it helps.

Sorry, I was wrong. From Synaptic try to install the package adobe-flashplugin. And forget flashplugin-nonfree.

Did you install any additional flash-package: e.g. "flashbutton" or "flash-button"?
This package seems to be broken/buggy ... thus, you should remove them using synaptic.

Checked and don't have any other flash packages loaded. Just on some sites does the plug in come up and it gives me three options, Adobeflash player (installer), Swfdec player for Adobe/Micromedia flash, and Gnash SWF player. I have tried all three and get told that they are already installed. This is getting to be a real pain. Sure hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks,.

You could go to a "broken site" which is working under Win32 (e.g. youtube.com ???) and look in the Error Console (Ctrl + Shift + J). If you find something there you should send it to this forum.

Have loaded the latest but it still comes back saying I need to load the latest version. Just about to scrap this.

Got it fixed. Thanks to all. Now just have it going full screen on its own from time to time but F11 fixes that. maybe next update will take care of that too.
