e-mail send error appears everytime a send/receive is done

Asked by Jerry Everett

Binary package hint: evolution

when I erroneously attepmted to send an e-mail to a website instead of an e-mail address, I received the error message "error while performing operation".

I corrected the send address and my e-mail was received.

now, every time I click the send/receive button I receive the error message again. I also receive the error message "unsent e-mail" every time I close Evolution.

I looked at my inbox, my sent folder, and my trash folder to find the offending e-mail and delete it. the e-mail doesn't appear anywhere I look and the error message continues to appear.

I am using Evolution 2.10.1 onUbuntu 7.04 - the Feisty Fawn - released in April 2007.

please advise how to suppress the error message,
jerryE

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs .
