Empathy cannot support Chinese Input

OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Chinese Input: Fcitx

I found that I can not input any Chinese character into Empathy chatting window, how could I solve this issue, thanks in advance.

you have to setup .. chinese for keyboard .. and if you did so .. then i recommend refer question
