ubuntu 12.04 unstable: popup menu's theme are inconsistent

In Ubuntu 12.04 using the Ambience theme, the Popup menus are inconsistent between applications.

 - Right-click in Chromium and you get the "Ambience" like menu
 - Right-click in Emphaty's contact list and you get an "Adwaita" like popup menu
 - With Empathy's window selected, select a contact and click "Edit > Contact": the first menu is "Ambience", but the sub-menu is "Adwaita".
