Cant sign in on ICQ on empathy in ubuntu netbook remix 10.0.4

I have been trying a lot to log in on Icq using ICQ number , and my normal password but cant connect. Help please.

What messages do you get when you try? Have you tried different clients?

Can you also give the output of:

lsb_release -a; apt-cache policy empathy

Thanks, it worked with pidgin, after installing updates, and then empathy worked as well.
