Empathy ver 2.30.3 unable to establish Facebook Chat , authentication failed

Hi , I am using Ubuntu ver 10.04 with Empathy ver empathy 2.30.3 whereby I had problem adding to facebook chat.
I had check my user id and password in which was correct via my facebook log in and also under the facebook , under facebook account, notification, under other aps to allow the application to give access to facebook. It was not found at my facebook account .
I am unable to log in .
Please do advise.

For some strange reason, I change my user ID in facebook and I guess the facebook take some time to refresh or update the database. I try again and the software now able to syn .
