im having problem with UBUNTU SOFTWARE CENTER and SYNAPTIC PACKAGE MENAGER... i tryed to install some game on my ubuntu and was a power crash so my computer has restarted in the middle of instalation... Now i cannot instal,edit or remove any instalation unless i finish this one ( lincity ng).... please help..

You'll need to use the terminal for this. Open a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and type the following:

sudo apt-get install -f

Please type your password when it is asked for. Note that you won't see your password appear on the screen; not even stars or dots - but it's being entered. Then press enter. That should clean up the "half-installed" packages.
