how do i add the necessary application to copy a dvd

I am trying to make a copy of a dvd with Brasero. It said I have to add the following:
libdvdcss.so.2 (library)

How do I do this?

Type libdvdcss into quick search box in Synaptic Package Manager. To get there (System, Administration, Synaptic Package Manager) That will bring up a selection. I have libdvdcess2,libdvdread4, brasero, and ubuntu-restricted-extras, all checked. Some people like Gnomebaker CD/DVD writer better than Brasero. In case of problems.

Try the command below from your Terminal:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh
