amarok 2 doesn't play any song

Asked by Ashish

I have phonon-backend-xine installed. Sometimes I do get "HDA intel doesn't work, falling back to default".

How do I make it work?

I have selected pulse audio server in sound settings, but none of the other ( exaile, audacious, banshee, rythmbox) have any trouble with it.

Installing the following packages worked for me:

ubuntu-restricted-extras
libxine1-ffmpeg
phonon-backend-xine
phonon-backend-gstreamer

Thanks a lot.

That seems to have done the trick, lixine1-ffmpeg was the one needed.
